    We invite you to our reader service station with a document confirming your identity.

    Important! Having an account at the University of Warsaw Library (BUW) does not entitle you to use the Connected Library Lending Service.
    Orders can be placed by::
      • Online Catalog (po założeniu konta),
      • submitting a paper reverse (available at the reading room),
      • order placed in person in the Library.

    For materials currently on loan – can be submittedreservations,if the return period is less than 95 days.

    Important!Books in Free Access cannot be ordered. You should search for a given item yourself or ask the Librarian for help.
    In accordance to Regulations of the WFiS UW, IFiS PAN and PTF Combined Libraries, the Lending Room can be used by:
    • all UW employees and students
    • employees and students of IFiS PAN and members of PTF and PTS
    • employees and students of institutions with which the library organizers have concluded relevant agreements
    • other users as part of the interlibrary loan system

    Important!After ordering, the book is waiting in the rental office for 10 days.
    Fees
    • For keeping books, you will be charged 30 groszy per day of keeping from one item.
    • Fees are not charged for public holidays.
    • Opłata jest naliczana od przewidywanego terminu zwrotu, do dnia faktycznego zwrotu.
    • The extension of the loan period AFTER the expected return date is treated as a return and repeat loan – which also results in a penalty from the expected return date to the date of extension.

    The fee can be paid:

    • in person (payment in cash),
    • electronically, to the account 86 1160 2202 0000 0000 6084 9393. The title of the transfer should include “library penalties – name, surname, reader card number”. After paying the fee, please send the confirmation of the transfer to the address wypozyczalnia.wfis@uw.edu.pl
